Simon is mint he is someone who makes you feel very comfortable while learning to drive, he also isn’t too serious and makes you feel very relaxed. However he can be serious when needed. He is a top man 10/10.

Simon is the best instructor I've had. He's straight to the point, a lovely and friendly person who makes the lessons enjoyable and his teaching method helped me gain confidence a lot quicker. Would definitely recommend him 🙂

Honestly Simon is the best instructor one could ask for. He had me ready quickly for my test and improved my driving ability efficiently whilst making me feel comfortable on the lessons. Was a memorable experience and will recommend to everyone. 10/10 👌

You will be very lucky to learn with Simon, he is dedicated to setting out high standards, putting you at ease from the minute you meet him and remained professional at all times. You will always have a laugh too which was a massive plus for me as I needed to be able to have a laugh to make me want to continue learning to drive.

There is no other thought about who to recommend when my friends have asked for an amazing driving instructor. Firstly, I cannot say how much I appreciate that you were happy to teach me in my own car; it was an immense trust in my abilities. Secondly, you have very professional work etiquette; you were always on time and communicated promptly and professionally. Most importantly, thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone to become a good driver who can cope with everyday day-to-day driving and beyond. I still remember that double lesson we had when my stoma bag decided to rupture; you were so understanding, which showed your consideration of people with disabilities; it took at least 30 minutes of this lesson for me to sort the bag out. Thank you so much for being you, Simon. My partner asked me to add that you have to have a strong constitution to drive with Angelina 😀 We started at the end of May 2023, me being 32, never thinking I could drive, lol, and with a little break between August and September 2023, I passed my test in Burton (taught to drive in Derby) for the first time in my 7-seater car.

I would have to say that as a driving instructor Simon can only be described as one of the good ones. Not only in his ability to be accommodating and flexible around scheduling. For example around lectures and work patterns but also in his ability to adapt to a students needs during the learning process. I was not a confident driver, in fact, driving would make me quite anxious. However, due to Simon's experience and Kind nature, he was able to put me at ease. By providing clear and straightforward directions, through a multitude of different methods, such as verbal instruction, and use of diagrams to explain any specific scenario I may be facing, and by being able to answer any of my questions related to that scenario or about driving in general. When it came to the dreaded driving test, Simon was nothing but encouraging. Although it took me more than once, with his support I never felt that I had to face that test on my own and it was easy to discuss what I felt went wrong and how we could work on it. And those discussion would be acted upon promptly. So to reiterate, it is Simon's kindness, humour and patience that made his lessons and my experience with him as a driving instructor delightful despite my anxiety. Thus, I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive.

Simon was an amazing instructor and super down to earth. He helped me pass my test first time and every lesson with him was enjoyable. As someone who puts a lot of pressure on himself he was brilliant at keeping me level headed and not letting mistakes get me down. Can’t recommend Simon enough!

I successfully passed my driving test on my first attempt and I owe a huge thanks to Simon. He is an excellent driving instructor who consistently motivated me to improve my skills. Whenever I faced challenges with my driving, Simon patiently guided me through them, ensuring I understood everything thoroughly. Thanks to his teaching I felt much more confident during my test. To conclude, I highly recommend Simon to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

Thank you so much Simon!! I cannot thank you enough for making each driving lesson such an enjoyable experience, I always looked forward to my Tuesday lessons!! From the very beginning, you made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident behind the wheel due to your patience, positive attitude and jokes!! Your ability to I still confidence in me made all the difference which I am so grateful for. Out of all the driving instructors I could have had, I am so glad that I had the opportunity to learn from you!! I’m so happy that I’ve passed but I am also so upset that my lessons have to end. Once again thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Passing my test is such a big milestone and I owe that to you. I will always remember my fun lessons and will carry my knowledge on every journey I take!!

I would 100% recommend Simon as a driving instructor. Super friendly and welcoming, brilliant at calming down those nerves for first time drivers. Great value for money and always responsive. I've recommended Simon to many people all of which have had an equally amazing experience. I will continue to recommend again and again!
